Intend to Apply for OSAP?
The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program funded by both the provincial and federal governments that helps you with the cost of postsecondary education.
OSAP funding includes:
- Grants – money that you do not need to repay.
- Loans – money that you will need to repay when you are finished school.
OSAP considers many different factors when determining how much financial assistance you may receive, including:
- Your educational costs (e.g., tuition, fees, books, whether you are living away from home, travel costs, where you are studying, etc.).
- The financial resources you have available to contribute toward your own postsecondary education (e.g., family income, savings, scholarships, etc.).
Estimate how much OSAP you may be eligible to receive by using the OSAP aid estimator.
