Awarded to students with a 90%+ average entering the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need and Canadian citizen or permanent resident (landed immigrant) status. A GPA of 80%+ is required for renewal.

No matter what program you choose, you will be guaranteed a minimum level of institutional financial support in the form of scholarships and/or bursaries if you are entering directly from full-time high school studies, based on your application for admission, and best 6 final and interim Grade 12 U/M level courses (or equivalent) available in May.

Renewable Entrance Scholarships may be granted for a maximum of 4 academic years (or 8 semesters) provided the student is registered on a full-time basis and maintains the required minimum cumulative average of 85%.
